Jerusalem

We made it to Jerusalem! After 27 hours of traveling, we made it to the Jerusalem Center. It is beautiful here. the facilities are so nice. The staff and leaders are intelligent and friendly. And the other students are just as excited as I am to be in the Holy Land!

Basically, I just wanted to let you all know that we made it safe and this is the first of many blog posts showing life in Jerusalem. (sorry all my previous posts are a result of my D&C class).

What does that cryptic message at the bottom of your first JRU post mean?

Candace, I'm so glad that I found out about this from your mom. I can't wait to hear all about the wonderful things you'll be experiencing in these next few months.
Oh, and if you meet a member of the security staff named Tarek, give him an enthusiastic hello from me. He took good care of me when I was there, and is a fantastic friend.
Anyway, enjoy it all, and I'll try to keep my jealousy in check. :)

Hey Candace,
We just figured out how to do this blogging, (with a little help from our friend, Kayla.:)
We are so glad you are there! Please put pictures on and give us more updates on this blog. We are dying to know how it looks, feels and is to live in such an amazing place.
We love you! Mom & CO.

So you got to take a tour under the center already? Neat; we didn't have ours until the end of semester when we talked Erin into it. But I'm glad you found me there. It really makes me smile to know you are having such an amazing time.
